Founded by Damian Lazarus as a celebration of the final day of the Mayan calendar in 2012, Day Zero has grown into one of the world’s most distinctive one-night festivals, blending cutting-edge electronic music with site-specific art, performance and Mayan-inspired rituals deep in the jungle outside Tulum. Expect an extended, through-the-night program built for the sunrise moment Day Zero is famous for.
2026 at a glance
The new edition lands Saturday, 10 January 2026, with General Release live and capacity already moving fast. Production expands across multiple stages (three in 2026) with the usual emphasis on atmosphere and storytelling rather than big-room spectacle.
Lineup highlights
Day Zero’s curation bridges scenes and eras — from iconoclasts Seth Troxler and Acid Pauli, to Latin American innovators like Nicola Cruz, to crossover names such as Vintage Culture and Mau P. The bill also features Cinthie, Indo Warehouse, Jamiie, Jonathan Kaspar, Superpitcher, Traumer, Perel, Metrika (Live), Rigopolar (Live) and more — with a Very Special Guest still to be announced.
