Updated September 3, 2026
Tulum’s main festival season starts around New Year and runs through January, with events taking place across jungle venues, cenotes, beach clubs and other locations around town.
The 2027 calendar is already taking shape. 7 Realms, ¿PorQuéNo?, Solomun at Tehmplo, Day Zero and Arena Festival have confirmed dates, while Zamna is preparing its tenth-anniversary Tulum season.
This is our live guide to Tulum festivals in 2027. We update it as dates, lineups, tickets and venues are officially announced rather than carrying over events from previous years.
Tulum festivals confirmed for 2027
7 Realms - January 1 - 13, 2027
7 Realms is a new festival created by Tulum Bible, taking place across seven dates from January 1 to 13, 2027. Every other day, the festival moves to a different location around Tulum, with each realm built around its own setting, music and collaborators.
We created 7 Realms to bring more of Tulum into festival season. Instead of keeping everything inside one festival ground, the series will connect people with local venues, hotels and businesses across town while giving each event a completely different setting. All seven events take place during the day, leaving the nights open for the rest of Tulum’s January calendar.
There is also a points system running alongside the festival. People can earn points by inviting friends, completing challenges, checking in at participating local venues and attending the realms themselves. Those points can be used for rewards including discounted and free tickets, drinks and upgrades, while the leaderboard gives participants the chance to win additional prizes.
The seven dates are January 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13, but the realms, locations, collaborators and lineups will be revealed gradually one by one.
To see each realm as it is announced - and start taking part before tickets go on sale - sign up at 7realms.mx.

Zamna Festival Tulum 2027
Zamna has now started revealing its 10th-anniversary Tulum programme. Anyma presents ÆDEN on January 4 is the first individual event announced, with more dates expected to follow. The full season runs from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027, and the Zamna Multipass remains available for guests planning to attend multiple dates.
That distinction matters because Zamna is not normally one continuous festival where a single ticket gives you access to every night. It is a season of individual events at the same large jungle venue. In 2026, for example, its programme included separate dates for David Guetta, ANTS, RÜFÜS DU SOL, No Art, Keinemusik, Adriatique's X, Mayan Warrior and other artists and brands. Those were 2026 events and should not be treated as confirmed for 2027.
Zamna is also heading into its tenth-anniversary year in 2027, and its official channels have begun promoting Tulum as the start of that anniversary season. We will add every confirmed Zamna date here as soon as the official programme starts to come out.
Location: Zamna Tulum
Multipass: On sale
Individual tickets: TBA
Lineups: Anyma Presents AEDEN, more TBA

Arena Festival returns for its 15th anniversary with five days of events across Playa del Carmen and Tulum.
The 2027 edition is planned around eight parties and more than 30 DJs, with events spread across different venues rather than one festival ground. The artist lineup is being revealed progressively.
Full Access passes are already available, while individual event tickets will be released separately depending on capacity.
Dates: January 28–February 1, 2027
Locations: Playa del Carmen + Tulum
Format: 5 days · 8 parties
Artists: 30+ planned
Lineup: Being revealed progressively
Tickets: Full Access passes on sale
Other January programmes in Tulum
Not everything happening during festival season fits neatly into a conventional festival format.
Bonding Season — December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027
Bonding Season returns to Be Tulum over New Year, bringing together music, wellbeing and other programming across the hotel group’s Tulum properties.
It runs from December 31 through January 10. Unlike a normal ticketed festival, access to the included parties and events is primarily built around guests staying with Be Destination, so check the accommodation and access conditions before planning around it.
Dates: December 31, 2026–January 10, 2027
Location: Be Tulum
Format: Music, wellbeing and hotel programming
Access: TBA
Tulum festivals beyond January
January gets most of the international attention, but Tulum has smaller festivals throughout the year covering food, local culture, art, wellness and nature.
Several of these have already taken place or have confirmed 2026 editions, while their 2027 dates are still waiting to be announced.
Tulum Food, Spirits & Wine Festival + Rising Phoenix
The Tulum Food, Spirits & Wine Festival returns for its fourth edition in November 2026, this time alongside the new Rising Phoenix wellness, health and fitness festival.
The six-day programme is planned across different locations in Tulum, including beaches, cenotes, restaurants, hotels and wellness spaces. Rather than being only a restaurant festival, the programme combines guest-chef dinners and mixology with fitness events, yoga, cycling, running, sound sessions, art and music.
It is one of the more interesting festivals to watch if you are visiting Tulum outside the January electronic music season.
Next confirmed edition: November 2026
Focus: Food, wellness, fitness, art and music
Horizontes Mexicanos
Horizontes Mexicanos is a cultural project created in Tulum around contemporary Mexican art.
Its second edition runs from November 4–21, 2026, bringing a new group of Mexican artists to create murals, exhibitions and public art around town. One of the interesting parts of the project is that the work remains in Tulum after the festival itself ends.
Latest confirmed edition: November 4–21, 2026
Focus: Mexican artists, murals and public art
