The World of Bedouin & the SAGA Experience
Bedouin, the acclaimed duo composed of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe, have become defining voices in contemporary electronic music through their distinctive blend of deep, melodic, and culturally rich soundscapes. Born from their Middle Eastern heritage and shaped by years within New York's underground, Bedouin’s style fuses organic instrumentation, hypnotic percussion, and modern electronic design—creating a sonic identity that is both timeless and forward-thinking. Their acclaimed album Temple of Dreams, along with releases on labels like Crosstown Rebels, showcases their ability to build immersive worlds rooted in storytelling and emotion.
Their globally celebrated concept, SAGA, has become one of Ibiza’s most respected residencies, praised for its theatricality, spiritual undertones, and the seamless fusion of visuals, live elements, and genre-blurring DJ sets. SAGA events draw inspiration from ancient narratives and contemporary club culture, creating nights that unfold slowly—layer by layer—into a captivating musical journey. Bringing SAGA to Tulum reconnects the experience with the natural settings that inspired its ethos, offering an intimate encounter with the duo’s artistic universe.
A Curated Lineup of Global Innovators
The supporting artists for this edition of SAGA represent a diverse cross-section of forward-thinking electronic musicians, each contributing a unique energy to Bedouin’s narrative arc.
Shimza
A leading figure in Afro-tech and one of South Africa’s most influential DJs, Shimza is known for powerful, percussive sets that blend driving rhythms with emotive melodies. His global success—from Ushuaïa to Tomorrowland—stems from his ability to command a room with precision, intensity, and a distinctly African musical identity.
Notre Dame
French producer Notre Dame has emerged as one of the most exciting new voices in melodic house and techno. His atmospheric approach—shifting between deep grooves, cinematic pads, and warm harmonics—has earned him international acclaim and performances across Europe’s top clubs and festivals.
Nandu
Copenhagen-based Nandu, known for releases on Innervisions and Afterlife, brings a minimalist yet deeply expressive style. His music explores emotional textures, subtle rhythmic patterns, and layered melodies, creating a contemplative yet dance-driven atmosphere that fits naturally within the SAGA world.
Robin M
A rising talent within the global melodic and organic house circuit, Robin M contributes a vibrant and refined sound shaped by warm percussive grooves and uplifting progressions. His sets are known for fluid storytelling and high musical sensitivity, adding depth to the night’s progression.
Together, this lineup forms a cohesive, multi-dimensional musical journey—one that reflects the essence of Bedouin’s SAGA concept: a fusion of ancient influence, modern production, and immersive collective experience.
The Jungle Setting of Zamna Tulum
Zamna provides an extraordinary setting for SAGA, merging Bedouin’s mystical aesthetic with the natural energy of the Mexican jungle. Surrounded by palm trees, water reflections, and open-air architecture, the venue’s cenote becomes an atmospheric extension of the music—heightening the hypnotic, ritualistic spirit that defines Bedouin’s performances.
Zamna’s world-class sound system, visual installations, and open-sky environment create an ideal stage for SAGA’s narrative progression: deep, evolving sets that build tension, soften into melodic warmth, and rise into late-night crescendos. Attendees can expect a night shaped not only by music but by the elemental interplay of nature, rhythm, and visual design.
