Who is Bedouin
Bedouin is the US-based duo of Rami Abousabe and Tamer Malki, multi-instrumentalists and producers known for weaving melodic house/techno with motifs from their Middle Eastern heritage. They’ve released on Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream, and their own label Human By Default (launched with the Whistleman EP), and in 2023 unveiled their debut album Temple of Dreams—a patient, cinematic record with tracks like “Rise and Fall,” “Coldman,” and “Voices in My Head.” They also recorded a celebrated Cercle performance at Petra in 2022.

What is SAGA
SAGA began as Bedouin’s weekly Ibiza residency at Heart (2017–2019), winning DJ Awards’ “Best Night in Ibiza” in 2019, then evolved into high-profile seasons at Pacha and most recently Club Chinois—always prioritizing long-arc musical storytelling, theatrical lighting, and a sense of ritual over formula.

SAGA in Tulum
Zamna’s open-air cenote and jungle contours are a natural amplifier for SAGA’s aesthetic—shadow, water, trees and night sky becoming part of the stage. When SAGA debuted at Zamna (Jan 7, 2025), Bedouin curated WhoMadeWho (Hybrid), Âme (Live), Jimi Jules, and Nandu, signaling the project’s blend of live performance and club energy. Expect the 2026 return to keep that balance: hypnotic percussion, melodic tension, and a narrative that peaks around sunrise.

Label & sound cues
Through Human By Default, Bedouin cultivate a sound that’s plush but restrained—designed for open-air spaces and long mixes. Temple of Dreams widened the palette with vocal features and worldly timbres; SAGA translates that record’s mood into a living environment, where interludes, edits and slow-burn IDs feel purpose-built for the jungle.
